If you're a bird, I'm a bird

In 2007, I moved to Athens, Ga alone. I had survived a break-up 10 months earlier. I graduated from graduate school with a Masters in Elementary Education and took a job at a Title 1 poverty school in Athens, Ga as a 4th grade teacher. I had taught 3 years prior in private schools and had been a substitute in public schools. I had been making $18,000 a year and now I was making $40,000 a year, just like that.  I moved to a new city, had my own 1200 sq ft 2-bedroom apartment for $725/month. It was a pretty amazing, spacious place. My first year teaching in the public school was rough. I did plug into a church, Rock Church, right away. Not to be confused with the cycling class at the gym... I have been curious about spinning fiber. Main Street Yarns and Fibers in Athens, GA offered a 2-hour class for $60. I never took it because I thought it was expensive.  Add caption My husband and I went on a mountain vacation a couple weekends ago. We visited a small town, Franklin, NC below Asheville, NC. Since snow was expected for Saturday, I recommended us going in town on Friday to look around. We hit Main Street and stopped in an outdoor store, an art supply store and yarn shop. At  Silver Threads and Golden Needles , I saw that they offered spinning so I asked about classes and costs. It was $10 for a 1-hour class on a spindle and $15 for a 1-hour class on a spinning wheel. I couldn't believe how cheap it was so I booked a class right then to come back in 1.5 hours. I've been wanting to type this post for a long time. It has just been a matter of sitting down to type it. When I get home, we spend time with Lincoln and put him to bed. Afterwards, I just want to relax, watch TV and go to bed. Occasionally, I do school work if I have something due. Anyways, we found out November 1 that we were expecting our second baby. When we found out, I had changed my mind about wanting a second baby, even though we were trying. Needless to say, the news was anticlimactic. We are about 1 month out from our second one arriving and I still doubt that we can take care of two children. I know it is going to be an adjustment. Lincoln is in a tough stage right now.
