What's in a name?
Singer, Macy Gray Since we didn't know what we were having, we picked out a name for each. We decided on a girl name right away- Blythe Emery . Up until a couple weeks before our baby arrived we changed the name. We left the midwife's house and she predicted we were having a girl. I started second guessing the selection. Around that time, we finally decided on our boy name- Finley "Finn" August. Wren, River, and Finn were the top three. Since we've had the girl, nobody asked what the boy's name was going to be. My father said he didn't think Finn was a strong enough name so we lengthened it to Finley. There were a lot of names that I liked that Joseph did not. I liked names that are nouns, like Lyric, Capri, and Luna. I got shot down. Grey and Ellis were on our baby name list when we decided on our first child's. It just didn't make the final cut. We liked Lincoln better. When we were rethinking our girl name, Joe mentioned naming a girl
